THE PLOT AND THE WORLD OF THE GAME
According to the plot of The Occultist, paranormal researcher Alan Rebels travels to the mysterious island of Godstone to uncover the mystery of his father's sudden disappearance. Over the decades, he has mentioned this place more than once, but Alan only knows for sure that his father was born and spent his childhood on the island.
Only Alan doesn't arrive alone. During his investigations, he never leaves a mysterious pendulum of unknown origin. There doesn't seem to be anything left on Godstone but foggy streets and maddening buildings. As Alan begins to study them, he realizes that this case is special.
Until 1950, Godstone was inhabited by adherents of the infamous creepy sect, who conducted shocking experiments and barbaric rituals.Since then, no human foot has set foot there. But today everything has changed. With the help of his abilities, Alan must interact with the sinister souls remaining on the streets and in the buildings of Godstone, and avoid those who are hostile.
While investigating cases of paranormal activity, Alan Rebels has already encountered something similar. However, in order to find information about the fate of his missing father on a mysterious island, he will have to make every effort. Godstone will turn Alan's ideas about the limits of what is possible in the occult world upside down. Perhaps the island harbors a curse... But is it worth taking it off?
