PLOT AND GAME WORLD
In The Occultist, paranormal investigator Alan Rebels travels to the mysterious Godstone Island to uncover the mystery of his father's sudden disappearance. Over the decades, his father has mentioned this place many times, but Alan only knows for sure that his father was born and spent his childhood on the island.
But Alan isn't alone. During his investigations, he always carries a mysterious pendulum of unknown origin. It seems that nothing remains on Godstone except foggy streets and maddening buildings. As he begins to explore them, Alan realizes: this case is special.
Until 1950, Godstone was inhabited by a notorious, macabre cult that conducted shocking experiments and barbaric rituals. Since then, no human has set foot there. But today, everything has changed. Using his abilities, Alan must interact with the sinister souls lingering in the streets and buildings of Godstone, while avoiding those who are hostile.
Alan Rebels has encountered similar cases while investigating paranormal activity. However, to find information about the fate of his missing father on the mysterious island, he will have to make every effort. Godstone will challenge Alan's understanding of the limits of the occult world. Perhaps the island harbors a curse... But is it worth removing?
