Description:
"A time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time [to kill someone once more...]" Ecclesiastes 3:8.
Hooray! The Holy War has come to an end! Your oppressors have been defeated, the churches of the Old God have been destroyed, and thousands of innocents have been killed! But there is also bad news: the tyrant of Heaven Peter has escaped, and you have been assigned to find the fugitive...
Your journey will take place against a detailed picturesque background of hundreds of different Renaissance paintings. You have to hijack a ship, feed a donkey, participate in a talent contest, help an inept street magician, dance, sing, play the (magic?) Play the flute, poke someone else's face, hunt for treasures and rub it with our Lord Almighty... But will you find the Heavenly Peter? And if you succeed, how are you going to take revenge?
Features
Hover and click: a traditional point-and-click interface with a circular menu of interactions and a simple inventory from where you can drag and drop all your possessions.
Renaissance art: from paintings by Rembrandt, Botticelli, Michelangelo and many others, a single world was created — and all this with love and respect for the original works.
Classical music: the soundtrack is tailored to the style of the paintings — the music of classical composers such as Vivaldi, Bach and George Frideric Handel will accompany you along the way.
Independent plot: The Process to Calvary takes place in the world of The Four Last Things, but the passage of this game is not necessary.
The ability to kill: you will have a sword that is useful in a couple of situations, but it is strongly discouraged to use it on other people. You can ignore this advice and kill everyone left and right to skip the puzzles that you don't like. But keep in mind: this may turn out to be...
absurd: humor in the style of a surreal anarchic comedy by Monty Python. Heavy topics are raised with unprecedented levity, and jokes about the *** are presented extremely seriously. But make no mistake, even if some jokes seem silly, there are plenty of puzzles here! (At least they follow consistent internal logic.)
