Torn is a dark sci-fi investigation game created for VR. In a remote thicket, video blogger Catherine Patterson discovers an abandoned estate full of strange mechanisms and the results of unknown experiments. This is the home of the famous scientist Dr. Lawrence Talbot, who went missing 64 years ago. Patterson realizes that she has come across a million-dollar case, the crowning achievement of her entire career. However, upon discovering Dr. Talbot, still alive but disembodied and trapped in a bizarre new dimension, Catherine realizes that she was mistaken. This case promises to be the main event of her whole life. At first, Torn is an adventure puzzle game, during which you have to help Talbot reactivate the mysterious mechanisms that served his estate. But gradually the game turns into a dark plot built around the characters, as you learn the truth about Talbot and a new dimension, which he himself calls "Parallel". Remember everything you see, because in Talbot's world, truth is just a product of the mind. The Talbot Estate, chock–full of puzzles and mechanisms of a mad and disembodied scientist, is a real virtual reality sandbox created specifically for fans of classic science fiction like The Twilight Zone or Black Mirror. Spectacular acts of vandalism – use Dr. Talbot's gravity manipulator to throw grand pianos with a light flick of your hand. Build huge towers of objects and bring them down to your pleasure.
