“Void Shadows” is the first major story expansion (DLC) for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, introducing 15 hours of gameplay content and a new romantic interest for the Lord Captain. Fully integrated into the main storyline, this expansion allows players to personally explore the depths of their ship and immerse themselves in a conflict with a new, unfamiliar enemy seeking to destroy the von Valantius Dynasty from within.
New Story – An intense 15-hour adventure aboard the von Valantius, filled with new threats, diverse missions, unique equipment, and additional lore details. All fully integrated into the game's main campaign.
New Companion – Kybella, a Death Cult Assassin, ready to swear allegiance to the von Valantius Dynasty, as her predecessors have done for generations. She may even be ready to forge a stronger, more personal bond with the Lord-Captain.
A new, looming threat has emerged from the deepest, darkest depths of your voidship: the Genestealer Cult, a nightmarish xenos strain that works from the shadows to infect your crew with its genetic code. In their attempts to convert humanity, they slowly corrupt their very faith in the Emperor to further their monstrous plans.
New crew members – high-ranking officers who play an integral role in the flight and operation of your ship. Thousands upon thousands of souls, ready to faithfully serve their Lord Captain.
New locations to explore – the vastness of your voidship holds many remote places and nooks and crannies where no Lord Captain has ever set foot.
