✅ RDS Device CAL allows up to 50 devices to connect to a server using Remote Desktop Services (RDS). These licenses enable shared access to server resources such as applications, files, and data through remote connections.

❗ Why do you need Windows Server CAL?
Without a CAL license, only 2 users can connect to the server at the same time using Remote Desktop. If you need more simultaneous connections, you must install RDS CAL licenses.
User CAL licenses are assigned to users but can be reassigned if needed through the RDS license manager, as long as the total number of active users does not exceed 50.
