When the Worms series turned 21 in 2016, British developers and publisher Team 17 released Worms W.M.D., expanding on the beloved classic mechanics with modern innovations, weaving the full might of military artillery into the turn-based strategy genre! Game critics gave the project excellent ratings – 8 out of 10 for the Russian-language version.
You are the fearless leader of a squad of fearsome worms, and it is your duty to wipe out all opponents! Choose a worm and weapon to attack your enemies with, and wait for them to escape their dilemma. If your fighter loses health, they'll be forced to leave the field and turn into a neat gravestone. The round ends when someone is completely eliminated, or, in a timed game, when the level ends and your victory points decide the outcome of the battle.
The game's 2D graphics feature fantastic, colorful illustrations with varied landscapes and numerous references to modern culture.
