The Forest King, a terrifying pirate destroyer powered by an experimental energy source, was developed by the Starfinders in a desperate attempt to exploit a cosmic phenomenon in the Heart of Greed system. It took many years and cost many lives and resources. In X4: Tides of Avarice, you'll learn more about these mysterious phenomena as you upgrade your Forest King using the data and resources gained during your adventures.
The Astrid, a stunningly luxurious yacht that screams wealth and status, is rumored to be the fastest ship in the galaxy. It belongs to Brantley Northriver, CEO of the Northriver Company. With its sophisticated design and speed, you've never seen a ship like this in the X Universe! What secrets lie beneath its hull?

Scavenge ship wrecks for valuable materials
Have you ever come across a ship wreck you could turn into a profit? In the Greedy Heart system, a group of scavengers and hoarders known as the Starbreakers have developed ways to salvage wreckage and reuse it for manufacturing. You can either tow it away using one of the new tug ships or dismantle it for parts on-site using the new recycling ship. Once you unload your scrap at a station equipped with a recycling module, it will be converted into building resources.
