The Metro Exodus Expansion Pass consists of two main expansions, telling previously unknown stories from the world of Metro. Players will part ways with Artyom and meet a completely new hero, Sam, one of the Spartan Order fighters and the only American on the Aurora.

The Two Colonels

Through the dungeons of dead Novosibirsk, Colonel Khlebnikov tries to get home to his son, Kirill, to celebrate the New Year with him. Life here is tough. Slime is consuming the tunnels, mutant attacks are becoming more frequent, and the precious "green stuff" that protects against radiation is running low. To save humanity, the authorities are forced to take emergency measures.

Sam's Story

Sam, a US Marine who served in the Moscow embassy before the bombing, has long dreamed of returning to his homeland and finding his family. In the dark tunnels of the Metro, this seems impossible. But when the Spartan Order learned that Moscow wasn't the only city that survived the war, Sam's hopes began to seem less foolish.
