Controls
Lead your squad through expansive, explorable areas to find treasure, discover new paths, and battle enemies of all sizes. You can also direct your Pikmin to collect and carry resources useful for your mission. Up to three types of Pikmin can be on the battlefield at a time—the rest will remain behind until you need them.
Collect Pikmin
When their task is complete, the Pikmin will be waiting for you. Get close and whistle to call them to you! This helpful action will also help you protect your Pikmin from danger, count them, or simply take them with you on your next mission.

Gather Resources
Treasures are a great source of Sparklium, the mysterious element that powers the Shepherd. You can also gather raw materials useful for field construction or craft new equipment to streamline exploration!
Rescue Command Post
Take your time and prepare for the day's expedition! You can chat with Salvage Corps members and castaways, take on side quests, and craft new equipment to aid you on your expedition. From here, you can also embark on night expeditions.

Otchi, a kind local boy and trusted partner, will help you throughout your adventure. You can even train this rescue pup to make him even more helpful!
